EE&CS Positions Currently Available

The United States Military Academy at West Point seeks:

Applicants for a faculty position in electrical engineering in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science beginning Fall 2008. Appointment at the assistant professor level is preferred, although candidates with a strong record will be considered at the associate professor level. Applicants must possess an earned Ph.D. and have a record of scholarship in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related discipline. Disciplinary focus in computer engineering, power, networking, signal and image processing or microelectronics will be considered. The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science consists of a faculty team of 52 civilians and Army officers dedicated foremost to teaching and student development. We offer Electrical Engineering and Computer Science majors that are accredited by the Engineering and Computing Accreditation Commissions, respectively, of ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012 - telephone: (410) 347-7700.  Additionally, we offer an Information Technology major,  two minors, and two core courses in Information Technology. We seek selfless professionals with a passion for teaching in nationally-ranked programs and an enthusiasm for conducting scholarly research, serving in departmental and institutional governance, mentoring junior faculty members, and engaging students in extracurricular development.
